KIF launched Educational Rehabilitation Package (Bahali-e-Taleem) for providing 2 uniforms, school bags, shoes, socks, notebooks, textbooks, and stationery to students of flood affected schools across the country in 2010. These floods caused demolition of infrastructure which disturbed the financial conditions of many students and it needed immediate corrective actions.
The geographical spread out of this project is as follows:
Punjab: Layyah, Mianwali, Muzafargarh and Rajanpur
Sindh: Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Dadu and Shahdad Kot
Balochistan: Jhal Magsi, Nasirabad and Jaffarabad
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Charsadda, Nowshehra and Shangla
Azad Kashmir: Bagh, Muzafarabad and Rawlakot
Gilgit Baltistan: Giglgat
Under this project, KIF collaborated with Dia Foundation Pakistan and facilitated more than 60,000 students under Bahali-e-Taleem Package in 2010. Afterwards, other government schools and students of less privileged areas were kept on providing financial assistance under this project.
